Sir Alan Sweetener is not a very nice boss, so there's a distinct air of trepidation when he calls the other board members (his sisters) and senior staff together for a meeting.

• Hannah McCanna Purchasing Manager
• Stella Remington Production Manager
• Angela Darling from the Marketing Department
• Toby Jugge a relatively junior member of staff from the Sales Office
• Karen Underwood Sir Alan's long-suffering secretary
• Inspector John Sherlock of the local constabulary
• A Presenter who acts as master of ceremonies
